Hemma is a reliable and committed family law attorney with a passion for helping family’s transition through difficult times. Whether it is domestic violence or life changing court decisions, such as support and custody, Hemma works hard to effectively resolve conflict and achieve client goals.
Hemma has experience with complex divorce, custody, and domestic violence cases, including property characterization and division, business valuation, support, and restraining orders.
As a graduate of California Western School of Law, Hemma was first introduced to family law during a clinical internship with the Community Law Project which provided legal assistance and support to low income and indigent members of the community. There, she learned of the challenge’s families face in court and the impact of court proceedings. This experience furthered her commitment to provide compassionate and aggressive legal representation to families. Hemma was also an active member of the ACLU and Public Interest Foundation, where she worked directly with survivors of domestic violence.
When she isn’t working, Hemma enjoys travelling to warm destinations, cooking, and spending time with family.
